"Why Hasn't Susan Boyle Been Discovered
Long Before Now?"
"Set the playing field level for Susan Boyle for once!"
CAVEAT:
DO NOT TRUST OR RESPECT THE MEDIA
With No Thanks to the many news articles and reporting on Susan Boyle referencing negative remarks about her appearance; she comments–she is not thinking about quitting Great Britain's Got Talent and intends to enjoy her newly found fame.
If the media doesn't yet get it; and does not realize why the public would rather frequent YouTube.com and other venues of this type to get their real look on people and issues versus the same old opinionated propaganda style reporting that has endured the airwaves and news for the past years, I hope that Susan Boyle teaches them a strapping lesson.
It is the very marvel of being able to judge for ourselves by watching Susan Boyle's YouTube.com's video's versus watching announcers or reading their derogatory, narrow-minded, hurtful remarks and deficient reporting of the facts. Most newspapers, magazines, television and other articles depict her appearance in very unfavorable commentary when actually she is very beautiful with a wonderfully lovable smile. Her stature is poised and very refreshing versus almost undressed and obscene movements from others supposed singers who do not compare in voice.
The media displays cruelty and vicious disrespectful comments about people and wholesome humanity.
Even after viewing the negative reaction from the audience and judges, Susan Boyle stands stature in her own right and concentrated on her main objective–to sing.
For Gods Sake! Can't the media get it right for just once and start commenting positively about Susan Boyle's talent and other upbeat issues as they do for other contestants and celebrities?
Set the playing field level for Susan Boyle for once!
Stop comparing apples to oranges and discuss Susan Boyle along with other contestants and celebrities based upon each individual's talent; and not on her appearance.
I don't read any comments on the style of hair, brows or clothes for others as I continually read the same descriptions over and over again about Susan Boyle.
I have watched the Video for her audition, I can see for myself what she looks like along with millions of other fans.
Read this–It does not matter–Susan Boyle can sing and melt our hearts bringing joy filled sounds from her inner being.
Isn't it time Susan Boyle be judged on her talent?
How many times can the media comment on her appearance. Enough is enough.
I hope off-putting comments and representation by the media and some people can rise above the current bashing of Susan Boyle's appearance.
It seems that double standards succeed and readers in mass still follow all the while being brain washed, persuaded, programmed, conditioned and convinced by the media's choice words, interpretations and opinions.
Too many articles label and depict Susan Boyle's outer showing in a down right disrespectful interpretation based upon their own opinion and choice of words.
Are the Brits as easily lead like sheep the same as Americans and citizens from other countries?
I really do not understand what the intention of any reporter or writer is that cannot find many words to say how lovely Susan Boyle is along with her extraordinary style singing. Yet, they can find numerous portrayal, representation and other descriptive words about her appearance and outward show.
I have never been so infuriated as I am currently with the media's senseless and idiocy descriptive paragraphs that go on and on about Susan Boyles superficial outward appearance.
How many hours are spent for men and women chasing eternal youth along with their weekly waxing in salons? How many hours and how much money is spent on the age-resistant creams and surgical procedures for manufactured faces and physical appearances?
My God.. how long–I wonder–does it take for each man or women writer or reporter and others to dress in the morning taking extra care with their own self conscience appearance–also known as facade? How many people spend hours having their own hair dyed, tinted and groomed? How many times do they frequent their dentist to set a pretense of sparkling white teeth that appear bleached or false rather than natural?
If Susan Boyle does not find the need to pretend or make believe who she really is; thereby portraying her looks different than you think she should appear, why continue to pound like a hammer on a nail the issues that have absolutely nothing to do with her talent in song?
I feel and realize that Susan Boyle has grand and absolute courage. As for each writer that continues to report on her appearance in redundancy; they probably cannot even begin to understand! It is for that reason they continue commentary on the shallow and obvious issue of looks.
Society with the assistance of the media, each day destroys and devastates living dreams of too many souls. Why do the media present such a shallow presence that burdens others objectives?
At least Susan Boyle continued to try, in spite of the harsh treatment she experienced from self concerning disrespectful media and people. Are we a society of molded zombies without feeling that causes destruction to others lives?
Thank God she did audition one more time for Britain's Got Talent.
Susan comments that her courage came from within for the reason her mother wished she would audition. Her mother knew just how wonderful her daughter could sing.
Her mother did not see her as the media portrays her or as those that have bullied her for most of her life. Her mother knew Susan is beautiful with a radiant smile and sparkling eyes including a heart valued more than all the gold in the world.
She could see what the media cannot or will not care enough to recognize in Susan!
Her mother could see and feel what all other talent judges and people in her past cannot and will not!
Too many people see only the outward image and physical enclosure of a person. Oh.. they want to look at a person's hair and nose–even their body and try to pick apart and compare negatively as many characteristics as possible.
Does immediately attacking and criticizing some one else's appearance help to lift their own presence?
How necessary for a person's confidence is it to tear apart and label other's because they wear different style clothes, do not spend hours upon hours setting and grooming their hair; or decide to present a much different outer shell than that of their very own?
Why do so many people and the media continue to comment on the outer Susan Boyle when they have been blessed with the magic to visualize the inner Susan Boyle?
Yet, each day the double standard continues in print. Susan Boyle is being now compared to the other contestants. That is expected; however, where the double standard exists is in reference to Susan Boyle versus the others.
Not once have I read a comparison of another contestants hair, eyes, eyebrows, body shape, clothes including other physical features.
Why is that? I think you can answer that question very easily!
It seems it is because the media and most of the people working in it are cruel. It appears they simply want to hurt and tear down others that may be dissimilar on the outside; and even different on the inside from themselves.
I cannot believe that I can read comments that I find so insulting about Susan Boyle when so much more can be stated about her life and her voice, her courage and her beauty in joy.
What is wrong with the people in this world?
You know there is something special about Susan Boyle for the reason you have been drawn almost like a magnet to her presence and sound she expresses in song.
Why is it the media and people cannot reach to inner self and recognize that they should stop talking about what Susan Boyle looks like.
The media are not talking about what the other contestants look like. They are commenting on their talent.
For Gods Sake writers! Can't you get it right for once and start commenting only about her talent as you do the other contestants?
Set the playing field level for Susan Boyle for once!
Stop comparing apples to oranges and discuss Susan Boyle along with other contestants based upon each individual's talent.
Isn't time Susan Boyle be judged on her talent?
The people and media are so concentrated on her outward appearance that you are distracting her main objective.
She wants to show the world her talent, let her! Then if she wins she will win because of her talent. If she loses she will because some one else's talent is perceived to be the winner.
Give Susan Boyle this chance. She has more courage than most for she continues to prove stamina in the face of a cruel world.
I hope the media can straighten up for once!
If the media is not capable, then the people should put the media in it's place–once and for all!
Give Susan Boyle a chance to compete based upon her talent. It most likely will be the first time it has occurred in her lifetime.
Let her concentrate on her singing and allow her this chance on a fair and balanced level of talent!
Comments to you the media–ditch the celeb facade! Susan Boyle is above the charade!
If you continue to label Susan Boyle with negative remarks, I suggest you take a look into your mirror! I do not think you look much different!
How long will it be before writers and reporters begin to authentically convey the responses Susan elicits from listeners and viewers defining the admiration for her talent and its excellence without mention to her appearance?
It is writers like Tanya Gold, columnist for The Guardian who expressed disapproval of the audience and judges for their prejudgment on Susan Boyle's first impression. Yet, Gold then has her own cynical and appalling judgment of Susan that is more distressing and vexing. Why she found it necessary to detail and write such ugly commentary on Susan Boyle's appearance is very disturbing.
If she is a person with heart, she should openly apologize to Susan Boyle as other should also.
After all, what makes her believe she is beautiful?
Especially, when Gold writes her own unattractive interpretation and opinion that exposes her very own malice, ugliness and ill-mannered, inappropriate, impolite and discourteous comments.
More commentary of this type by her and writers of her low level caliber require revolt–against her and the medium by which she passes off as journalism and reporting.
Such consensus only represents a medium and societal decay.
A very concerned fan of Susan Boyle and a very alarmed reader of such irresponsible journalism and writing.

In 1984 Susan Boyle took the stage at Motherwell FCs Fir Park Social Club in a singing contest between locals and visitors from a Midlands club.
Susan was drafted into the Coventry Tam OShanter Clubs team because someone had dropped out.
She sang powerful versions of "I Don't Know How To Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar, and Barbara Streisand's "The Way We Were".
To Be Continued………

It is time the American people wake up to the [media reporting movement] and the [media revolutionary pressure group] where certain reporters propose to have you walk, talk and think as they do.
Journalism once was for the public to read facts; however, today I believe (notice I at least will pronounce my beliefs as just that), reporters' opinion colors true verity in almost every news article written.
Too many reporters, journalists and authors write opinions and beliefs in the stead of facts including their material portrayal as the truth when in fact it is merely what they THINK.
It is a good thing Blogs exist, for it is a way finally, to have a voice in the world of print other than being a journalist or author who sells their soul for notoriety and money.
Sidebar Taliban militants who beheaded a Polish engineer in Pakistan on
Friday before delivering a video of the attack to the media, the Times of London
reports.
Poland pledges to punish the terrorists who killed
and beheaded their engineer in Pakistan.
Piotr Stanczak was kidnapped while working in
Attock approximately 4 months ago.
the militants released a video to the media of
their disgusting attack on an innocent soul.
I suppose the Liberal
media and the Liberal politicians and the Liberal Americans
would like to sit down and talk to these militants over coffee
and cake!
After all, looking at
this horrific attack from the Liberals perspective, they may see any
other attempts to punish the terrorists as infringing upon their
civil rights.
How can you violate
rights of those who are NOT CIVIL?
If the Liberals have
their way; should we capture and confine such militants, they would
ask them to "pretty please" tell them who their next victim or what
city next they will attack, who will they kill and what building
will they bomb!
OK LIBERALS, how about
I send you in for the catch on those killiers first, before those of
us who believe in fighting for our rights go in?
This way, you might
have the chance to sit down and discuss how they beheaded Piotr
Stankczak!
My heart goes out to
the family and friends of Mr. Stankczak.
I only hope our
Liberals will wake up to see the hatchet coming before they behead
them while at the meeting table!
In a seven-minute video militants
show Stanczak sitting on the floor and two masked men standing on
each side.
Off camera, a militant speaks to
him before three others behead him.
One of the hooded men comes to the
camera, speaks and blames Pakistan for this killing because they did
not agree to demands to release Taliban prisoners.
The Times of London reported that
on the video the Terrorists warn that other foreign hostages will be
executed if the Pakistani government does not release detainees held
by the military.
It is believed by reports that the
insurgents hold at least four foreigners. They are reported to be
a Chinese engineer and Afghan and Iranian diplomats.
Pakistani Interior Ministry
spokesman Shahidullah Baig said Sunday that the government was
investigating the existence of the video. He did not immediately
respond to requests for comment Monday.
